SYLACAUGA, Ala. - The Aggie Sports Network will provide live coverage of Sylacauga High School's opening-round soccer playoff matchups Thursday night, April 24, with coverage beginning at 5:30 p.m. on MIX 106.5 and YouTube (booth cam only).

The women's team (15-3) will take the field first, hosting Montevallo (13-6-1). The men's match will follow at approximately 7:30 p.m., with the Aggies (15-5) also facing Montevallo (15-3-2) in the first round.

Sylacauga's women are coming off a deep postseason run in 2024, reaching the Final Four before falling to Gulf Shores. The men's team, meanwhile, is aiming for redemption after a first-round loss to Brewbaker Tech a year ago.

Though Thursday marks the first soccer meeting between Sylacauga and Montevallo this season, the two schools have already crossed paths in postseason play. Earlier this year, the Aggies knocked off the Bulldogs 68-47 in the Class 5A Regional Championship in men's basketball.
