TALLADEGA, Ala - The 2024-2025 All-County boys and girls basketball teams for Talladega County were announced last week, recognizing standout coaches and players from both big and small schools.

Sylacauga's Joel Jones was named Big Schools Coach of the Year for boys, while Jordan Roberson earned Big Schools Player of the Year honors. Journey Smith was recognized as the Big Schools Co-Player of the Year for girls.

Several Aggies players also received All-County recognition. On the boys' side, Roberson, Ayden Crowe, and CJ Franklin were named to the Big Schools First Team. Josh Speer, Corbyn Patterson, and Erick O'Neal earned spots on the Second Team, while Gabriel Harrell received an honorable mention.

For the girls, Smith and Hailey Cannon were selected for the Big Schools First Team, with Kailyn Cannon making the Second Team. Acacia Patterson, Jaclyn Harvell, and Natalee Deason received honorable mentions.
