Sylacauga Football defeats Holtville 35-7
The Sylacauga Aggies opened their football season with a 35-7 win over Holtville, featuring strong performances on both offense and defense.
SYLACAUGA, Ala. - The Sylacauga Aggies opened their football season with a decisive 35-7 victory over Holtville on Friday night. Zakorien Chambliss led the offense with two rushing touchdowns, while Zilan Tuck added another. Junior QB Jasper Jacks contributed in the air and on the ground, passing for a TD and rushing for another. The Aggies' defense was equally impressive, dominating the line of scrimmage, and forcing Holtville’s one dimensional offense into passing situations. This victory improves Sylacauga's record to 1-0. The Aggies will face Munford next week, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p. m.
