Sylacauga Volleyball splits Tri-Match, returns home Thursday to face Calera

SYLACAUGA, Ala. - Sylacauga volleyball went 1-1 Monday night in a tri-match at Alexandria.

The Aggies dropped their opening match to Alexandria, 2-0, before coming back with a 2-0 win over Gadsden City to close out the night.

Sylacauga now turns its attention to its home opener Thursday night against Calera.

The Aggies and Eagles are set to get underway at 6 p.m. at Sylacauga High School. It will be Sylacauga’s first chance to play in front of the home crowd this season after opening the year on the road.
