Sylacauga Football set to host Leeds in key region clash

SYLACAUGA, Ala. - The Sylacauga Aggies will host the Leeds Green Wave in a crucial region matchup on Sept. 4 at 7:00 PM at Legion Stadium.

Currently, the Aggies hold a record of 2-0 and are looking to extend their winning streak to three games after a decisive 38-0 victory against Munford on Aug. 28.

In their first two games, Sylacauga's offense has fired on all cylinders, averaging 355. 5 yards per game. The Aggies have relied heavily on their rushing attack, which has produced an average of 246 yards per game. Leading the charge is Zakorien Chambliss, who has amassed 298 rushing yards on 26 carries, averaging an impressive 11. 5 yards per carry with three touchdowns.

Quarterback Jasper Jacks has played well, throwing for 219 yards with a completion rate of 54. 3%. He has thrown three touchdown passes, with Juice Riley being his primary target, recording 164 receiving yards and three touchdowns on ten receptions.

The Aggies' offensive line has yet to allow a sack this season As they prepare to face Leeds, Sylacauga will look to build on their strong start.
