Aggie Football falls to Leeds in region showdown

SYLACAUGA, Ala. - Sylacauga fell to the Leeds Green Wave in a tough matchup, with a final score of 57-7.

The Aggies struggled both offensively and defensively, as Leeds proved to be a force on both lines of scrimmage.

Despite the score, the contest was closer than it appeared until late in the fourth quarter when a blocked field goal was returned for a touchdown, followed by a long rushing touchdown from Leeds with less than a minute remaining. With this loss, Sylacauga's record now stands at 2-1.

The Aggies will look to bounce back as they prepare to face Jacksonville next week. The game is scheduled for Friday at 7 p. m.
